Iraq War Denialist John McCain Ripped A New One By Michael Ware

John McCain, whose campaign for the presidency is badly faltering, appeared on CNN in order to spin once again for the Iraq war and the “surge” strategy. Amazingly, McCain reaffirmed his previous claim that Iraq is safe, alleging that Americans can just walk around with no problem. Thankfully CNN correspondent Michael Ware is actually in Baghdad and makes clear that McCain’s rhetoric bares no relationship whatsoever to reality.

Crikeys! Theres an AlQaidagator. A vicious ferocious beast. Wow. He’s mean. I’m gonna go stick me thumb up his bum.

Baghdad is so safe that Condi Rice can announce a visit days in advance and travel from the airport to the Green Zone in a private car.
And maybe ol’ Straight Talk can go with her.

  3. Well, it doesn’t have the instantaneous Holocaust connections you attributed to “denier,” Frank.

  4. That should be “bears” no relationship.

  5. Shorter Michael Ware: Bwahahahaha!

    Maybe he means Baghdad, Pennsylvania.

  6. Saw it when it was on. Pretty cool when instead of putting up a Democrat to argue against a Republican (pretending both have equally valid points), CNN let a Republican argue against obvious facts. That’s refreshing.

And by the way, you know you have a McCain ad on the right, yes?

  7. “Instanteous bears”?

Are we supposed to call everyone who disagrees with a denier or denialist?

As in “fiscal responsibility denier” or “personal freedom denier” or “right to own a gun denier” for most Democrat(ic)s

Did you see the new gay Marriage position on McCain’s Myspace?

“Today I announce that I have reversed my position and come out in full support of gay mariage…particularly marriage between two passionate females.”

    So much for “straight” talk.

  9. A denier is someone who sees objective reality and denies that it exists.

  10. avatar midderpidge says:

Frank apparently hasn’t looked at the US deficit the last 10 years. That would make Republicans the party of fiscal irresponsibility deniers.

  11. The Democrats have never an appropriation they didn’t want to increase. I stand by my definition.

And a denier is also “a unit of fineness for rayon, nylon, and silk fibers, based on a standard mass per length of 1 gram per 9,000 meters of yarn”

    So?
