Cloned Animals Approved For Consumption

After a seven years of study, the Department of Agriculture announced Tuesday (January 15th) that cloned cows, pigs, goats, and their offspring are now safe enough to enter the food supply.  Although this announcement comes with a nearly 1,000 page document explaining their data, what is troubling is that cloned meat will not have to be labeled as being genetically modified, leaving the consumer unsure of what they are really eating.  Yikes!
