By the way, the train wreck that Sarah Palin is showing herself to be in the Couric interview (and elsewhere), well, Bush, Jr. was no better in 2000. He was every bit as horrible. The stakes seemed a lot lower then, so the lapdawg media merely marveled at how much money he could raise and mocked the smartypants Al Gore, but attention must be paid.
Who wants to vote for the smart, calmly responsible, sober guy now?

And by the way, Captain Bunnypants was never in control. Cheney and Rove, yes, but not the empty vessel who’s only qualification to be President was that his daddy with the same name was also President. He’s Sarah Palin bad. Let’s not forget that.

I love a good captain bunnypants reference as much as the next guy, and I know it’s fashionable for people of our political stripes to say stuff like this, but it almost certainly has no basis in fact. People who have actually met the president testify to the fact that he’s no dummy, nowhere close. Good president? Also nowhere close. But legitimately stupid? Almost definitely not, if eyewitness meetings are to be believed over inarticulate speech patterns.
Looks like the same freeze-frame as when he said “in the form of a mushroom cloud” ‘way back when.
