Republicans Were Responsible for the Tsunami

I thought I’d use Michelle Bachman logic to explain why the Republican Party was responsible for the Tsunami. Please follow carefully:
George Bush was in power in 2004, the same year the Tsunami killed over 200,000 people. Therefore, the Tsunami happened on Republican watch, so they were responsible.
Yes, the Republicans really are resorting to this type of nonsense.
