Bush Gets Booed at Ceremonial First Pitch

By Peter Bauer

President Bush was booed Sunday as he threw out the first pitch for the Washington Nationals.  With an approval rating in the low 20's the DC crowd really let the Commander and Chief know exactly how the rest of America feels: disgusted!

Compare last night's footage with Bush's first pitch at the World Series in New York in November, 2001.  At that time, the crowd gave him a standing ovation and broke into spontaneous 'U-S-A!' chants.

This is a perfect example of why Bush and Cheney  only speak in public when they can control audience.  America is fed up, and they're finally starting to be heard!
